| Trip description |
| The starting point is the lower station of the Burgstall/Vöran cable car (bus stop Meran - Bozen and Lana - Burgstall - Gargazon). From there the direction of Meran. You can continue the tour by following the new woodland track to Meran - Freiberg, or end it at Sinich, where you can take the bus to Meran (no 2). There are benches along the way as well as a fitness trail. The pathway is named after the Tyrolean prince Burggraf Volkmar. The castle foundations have been unearthed and the ruins are once again visible. |
